pay no attention to that little man behind the curtain

If the chairman of the Fed would
Say we have a housing bubble,
Claiming mortgages are deadwood,
Recent buyers might be wroth.

That could cause a lot of trouble,
Putting markets in a panic.
Even if we're now too manic,
Better not to stir the broth.

So Alan Greenspan, with Reserve,
Fluttered like an aged moth;
Said with humor (but less nerve)
There are local "signs of froth."
